Drinking water out of air

Sustainable Development

Meet Omar Yaghi, Professor of chemistry at University of California, Berkeley. Prof. Yaghi will introduce and discuss cutting-edge materials that enable extraction of drinking water from air powered by solar energy, a proven method even under dry conditions such as in a desert. Similar materials enable the removal of CO2 from the atmosphere.

Organizer
Wexsus, Dricks, Chalmers Area of Advance Materials Science and Nano

Welcome to a presentation and conversation

At this meeting, you with an interest in water issues, material science, and resilience can learn more about Professor Omar Yaghi's research and its possible applications. You will also be involved in discussing new opportunities to produce drinking water with air and sun as the only sources, such as during droughts or other crises.
