WE organize many seminar, mostly in Swedish. Historically WE has also offered planning grants to researchers.
Steering and coordination
WE is led by a director and a steering group with representatives from universities in West Sweden and the Region Västra Götaland. The steering group meets 2-3 times a year. Since 2024 the centre is organized within Wexsus, West Sweden Nexus for Sustainable Development.
Planning grants
During the years, WE has offered several opportunities for planning grants aimed at researchers intending to apply for larger project funding. As a result of this, and the collaboration within the steering group of WE, an estimated 28.5 million SEK in research funds have been secured thanks to WE during the 2020s.
