Welcome to an inspiring afternoon filled with insights and collaboration. Through the project Thesis Cluster for Sustainable Transition, public sector actors in West Sweden gain access to unique, interdisciplinary knowledge from master’s students at the University of Gothenburg, Chalmers University of Technology, and University West.

An inspiring afternoon

During this final event, the students who have participated in this year’s Thesis Cluster for Sustainable Transition will present the results of their master’s thesis projects. These projects are the outcome of several months of research and close collaboration with external partners around current and complex sustainability challenges.

This year’s themes and collaboration partners:

  • Governance and leadership for sustainable transition

  • Societal acceptance of transition

The programme includes student presentations, discussions, and an opportunity to explore new perspectives on how we can drive sustainable societal transformation together.

About the thesis cluster

Wexsus brings together master’s students from different universities, disciplines, and academic programmes in interdisciplinary teams – so-called thesis clusters. Each team collaborates with one or more external organisations to investigate and contribute to solutions to a specific sustainability challenge.
